I think if LSU is smart they will give him the job. However, I don't think their AD is smart.

I'm not up in the university politics there or who was the drive behind Miles removal but Oegeron would be my pick if I were a corn doggie. From an OM perspective I hope they don't. Maybe a Jim Tressle;-)

I hope they do. He's better than at OM. How can he not be? They will recruit well with or without him. Last night he was practicing Les Miles time management. He'll be good for us.

Have said and will continue to say CEO isn't likely to get the LSU job. I think the next coach will, out of necessity be a home-run hire if possible. I like any of the following.
1 P. J. Fleck
2.Tom Herman
3.Larry Fedora
4.Gary Patterson
LSU will hire an offensive coach and try to retain most of the defensive staff IMHO.

I hope LSU doesn't make the same mistake I made in picking my ex wife 40 years ago. I went with the prettiest, flashiest one instead of the one who would cook and clean house.
