It appears that Swinney will not contribute either. Freeze gave in to Swinney's demands that he be the only RB recruited in his class or he would not commit to Ole Miss. As a result of Freeze's spineless action, the depth is thin at RB. Once again Freeze makes another bad decision that affects Ole Miss football. You just have to wonder what head he using to think about RB recruiting!!!

Is Swinney hurt? How does he not conribute? I must have missed something. We have Woullard, Phillips, Buford, a Pennamon recovery (?) converted Linton and possibly Fuller transfer. Surely we can muster 100 yds a game out of the lot.

I like the way he ran it. Obviously we owed Wilkins and then he proved himself so Pennamon was Mr Avis. In any event hope he regains his old self.

I think if Swinney could drop a few pounds, he might be effective. Looked a little thick and slow to me in spring game. It would be easier on his knees as well. Linton intrigues me. If he can perfect some pass blocking I think he has real potential. Just my opinion.
