I've see a ton of promos they're doing to get back customers and earn new customers, including free subscriptions for the whole football season.
Rivals has the backing of Yahoo!, and 247Sports has been able to thrive given their founders experience at Rivals.
Scout.com got sold off in 2013 to NAMG from FoxSports. That tells me a big network like Fox was tired of marginal profits at best or maybe even losses, I haven't seen their financial statements. Their site redesign is okay, but they're still lacking a ton by letting reporters heavily influence their rankings.
