Saw some people mention Titanic and it got me to thinking. I am one of those geeks who loves movie soundtracks. When you work on a computer a lot, background music really helps, especially music that is not overly loud or involves singing that subconsciously distracts you, so I listen to a lot of classical and movie soundtracks. James Horner is one of my favorites. He did the soundtrack for Titanic and, one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, Braveheart... Other notables being An American Tale, Land Before Time, Field of Dreams, Legends of the Fall, Avatar and Apollo 13.
He died in a plane crash today. RIP to a fantastic composer who's music most here would know if they heard it.
