I log on on some occasions just to read what Rebelnation fans have to say on the board. What I would like to say is this. Some fans get bent out of shape on stars and rankings of certain players. I’m just here to let you know that it means nothing if it doesn’t equate to wins. Forget winning the recruiting battle. Will these guys lead us to the SEC championship and quite frankly we have not sniffed even close. As a former player, when you arrive on campus, you are just another person to your teammates as well as coaches. Fans have to realize that some schools get more pub than others and the smaller schools 1A, 2A and 3A produces some of the best quality players. The five star players are only as good as their coach. It shows on the field. Shea Patterson very well may have been a good player but as a player of the game, Bo Wallace was better for the OM program. There were tons of players who came through the program that weren’t highly ranked and some went on to have successful stints on the pro level. You have recent 5 stars who can barely get playing time in the league. True enough to some stars matter but remember everyone puts their pants on the same. Show me you are a 5 star on Saturday then that’s when I’ll believe

Thanks for sharing that. I’ve seen many great Rebel players who were 3 star and even 2 star recruits. Post more often.

Every time you mention me your popularity goes up. You know it too, that's why you have to mention me even when you're trying to talk about OM, only way anyone will pay attention to you.
