Anyone on here remember what happened to Billy Kinard the Saturday he lost his job? He lost to Memphis State and looked bad doing it. Today's pitiful performance reminds me so much of that day. Sad part is we have to keep putting up with an inferior head football coach. Sadly this team will ALWAYS be a mediocre team as long as he is coach. That is why I gave up season tickets I had for over 25 years.

I am not defending luke......but it will be tough to upgrade that position given the overall situation in Oxford

Luke is as I have said and others too, Luke is just out of his league. That said, our D held a pretty good offense but when the announcers can call the play before it happens, it's not very good.
NO one wanted the job before and no one will want it next time either. The other candidates for the job aren’t doing so hot either.
No coach was going to be successful with Pete Boone as A D. Cutcliff could have been a long term successful coach here but Pete Boone ran off all his good assistants and other good ones wouldn’t come. Pete was terrible.
the tennessee job is dangerous as hell with everybody and his brother turning it down after numerous busts ,as is lsu ,arkansas ,auburn ,south carolina , state ,and others . it’s a tough damn business .
