Last week Neal said that the loss to Memphis was the end of any Playoff hopes for the Rebels.

It turns out Neal was only right if the Rebels lose again (which effectively renders the Memphis game moot). It took a while last year for fans to adjust to the Committee polls from the polls that we have been conditioned to for the last few decades. The polls and the playoff committee rankings are 2 different animals. If, and I said if, the Rebels win at Auburn, the Rebels will not be in the top 10 in the media or coaches poll. However, they will be in the Committee (or whatever they are called) top 10 poll. They will still have 4 games left and winning all 4 will vault them over all 1 loss teams including Bama. If, and I realize it's a long shot, the Rebels finish with wins over TAM, Auburn on the road, Ark, LSU, MSU on the road and beat Ga (or whoever) in the SECCG, Neal get ready to eat a little crow from last weeks prediction. That is after you eat that TAM crow. Good thing it's crow season in North Mississippi.

The committee knows that key players missed last week. RN got hurt and TC, CJ, and LT didn't play. We are simply a different offense with Tunsil. He's that good, uh, I mean that great. CJ just raises the whole level on Defense. Also, somebody decided to trash the 10-15 yard cushion that DB's have been giving and aggression returned to Landshark nation last night. It has been sorely missed.
