LSU just demonstrated how NOT to go about changing your head coach. Lots of fallout. Will be interesting to see how this plays out with recruiting since Les will be under the microscope going forward. Recruits may decide to look around since his job security is in question. The Advocate (Baton Rouge newspaper) had an interesting article today on the front page with a behind-the-scenes look at how it played out. There were negotiations with Jimbo Fisher's rep. LSU's AD wanted to replace Miles but he was over-ruled by their president. If you want to read the article, click here.

this reminds me of the fiasco they had at auburn when they were trying to get rid of ears. the difference here is that i think that miles has a lot more pride and integrity than ears and i think that if someone makes him an offer at another school he might just tell lsu to shove it. it would serve them right.

I think his buy out is 15 million. If a school can cough up that kind of jack plus high salary I think they would go after someone else such as Chip Kelly or Gruden.
