LIV: 12 events, each with a 20 million dollar purse.
PGA Elevated Events: 10 elevated events, an average of 20 million dollar purse each. The first two rounds of FedEx Cup each have a 20 million dollar purse as well. 2023 Tour Championship purse was 75 million dollars.
Given the fact that it appears LIV will have to go to 72-hole events to receive OWGR points, it is kinda astonishing that Monahan hasn't called Brooks, Bryson, DJ, Joaquin, and Rahm to work out a path to return to the tour. PGA has made changes to be competitive but has done a shit job at communicating it.
