Looking for an Oxford recommendation.....

I have a business associate that is meeting with a Client in Oxford during football season, and I was looking for a recommendation on a nice place to get a cocktail...not a college bar or anything like that, but a nicer place that pours Single Barrel and Single Malt....any help is appreciated.

I don't get back to Oxford enough to be an expert anymore, but Snackbar is a cool spot with great booze and food. It is on N. Lamar, away from the higher traffic areas. http://citygroceryonline.com/snackbar/

these are great suggestions....all or most of my Rebel Friends live in Jackson County and get to campus mainly for Football and Baseball....actually, the wife of the Chef/owner of Snackbar is a high school classmate of mine...never been to their restaurant but I have heard good things....all the best this year, Fellas....

You might want to consider the bar at the new hotel - "Chancellors House". Top shelf environment for a business discussion

I agree with the posters here. All good options.

Please be wary though. There is a killer banana peel loose in Oxford.
