I don’t think it’ll happen. I think he’s a terrible fit and everyone knows it. Also, the same things that kept him here last year still exist.
However, let’s not kid ourselves. There are 5-6 schools out there with F U money and A&M is one of them. We can’t, nor should we, try and compete with a 10 year- 120 mill contract. There are other great coaches out there that would come here for less. If Kiffin gets an offer like that he would be crazy not to take it. Every person on this board would. That being said, we have proven we can win at a high level, so if he leaves, he leaves. Go get the next guy and act like we belong. We’re a top 15 job in the country now- let’s act like it.
