Malzahn's decision in the 2nd quarter to go for it on 4th and 2 from the Auburn 49 was eerily similar to the Orgeron call to go for it on 4th down against State years ago. I know he probably thought he was not going to win and thought he needed to make something happen, but sheeece! Thank you very much Gus! That totally turned the momentum in the Rebels' favor and the rest was history. Also, why would you throw a pass into the flat? Yea, I know Tony Bridges was probably 10 yards off of his receiver, but the Tigers had run the ball for 10+ yards in the series before that play. Total bonehead call!
