I am not sure you guys pay attention to high school sports, but the high school basketball playoffs have been going on for a couple of weeks now. It has been an embarrassing tournament. Not because of the tournament or kids play but because of the referees.
The games have been like football games. No fouls called at all. They have been sloppy and out of control. Fights have almost happened on multiple occasions, because the refs have let the game get out of hand. Also yesterday girls played a full game and one quarter of another game with a boys ball.
It is embarrassing enough to play in the Big Dump House, but the officiating has to improve. It is embarrassing for the state to put on this type of a tournament. I wanted to see if you guys have been there and have any thoughts.
