Looking back, its safe to say that the protests basically hurt their football and basketball programs and moved them quickly to the back of the pack.

The next few days will be lean for the regular MPW podcast, but it would an interesting thing to revisit based on how much both sports have fallen since all that happened (I know they had basketball sanctions, but that is not the only contributor to the fall back in basketball).

The protests took place in 2015 and 16, and their enrollment drop of 38% in 2017. That ran Pinkel out, and forced them to settled for internal hire, Barry Odom (who I think is a good coach), but never stood a chance based on the reputation mess the university had at the time.

FOOTBALL:
2010 - 2015 = 51-27
2016 - 2021 = 36-36

BASKETBALL:
2010 - 2015 = 4 NCAA Tourney Appearances
2016 - 2021 = 2 NCAA Tourney Appearances

Crazy to think how much those events cost their university altogether.
