I get your point on it being a make or break season, however I have a question on a hypothetical.
Let's say Ole Miss wins nine games this year (not a huge season but not the disappointment of 7-5 or less).
Ole Miss hangs in the eight-nine win range until Shea Patterson is a junior/senior, and then an experienced Patterson led team wins ten plus.
Patterson is drafted as a first rounder along with a couple others.
Is Ole Miss not then in the same position as "winning big" this season?
I agree there is a huge opportunity this year, but I question if it is do or die because with continued moderate sucess, Shea Patterson could easily give Ole Miss a similar opportunity as an upperclassman.
