I want to thank you for your hard work, not only on the Beard hiring but for all of the podcasts, weekend thoughts, and mailbag... I am really happy to be excited about basketball for the first time in a long time. I have been a member here for 20+ years. I remember when you took over from Col Dave(?). About ten years ago, I decided I would not let a bunch of 18-22-year-olds determine my happiness, and I feel much better, so I am not as big of a message board subscriber as I once was. I thoroughly enjoy reading your work and the podcasts. The podcast you did yesterday was superb. I understand your self-doubt, but I assure you that whatever it is, you have it in journalism. Please do not let these twits get you down. I just wanted to tell you I appreciate you and what you have done. BTW, Chase is pretty dang good as well. We are lucky to have both of you.
