While I was out running this morning, Ole Miss picked up a basketball commitment for the 2016 class.
Ole Miss has gotten a commitment from Tyrek Coger from Cape Fear (N.C.) Community College. Coger is a 6-foot-9, 240-pound forward from Raleigh, N.C., who originally committed to Missouri. Coger started his career at East Florida State but transferred to Cape Fear midway through his freshman year. He sat out all of last year and will play this season at Cape Fear. Coger is friends with Ole Miss forward Rasheed Brooks, and Brooks told the Ole Miss staff about him. Coger visited Ole Miss yesterday and committed following his visit. He will have three years to play two once he arrives at Ole Miss.
By the way, Ole Miss is through with the 2015 signing class.
