About to roll into New Orleans in an hour. Any solid restaurant recommendations? Staying on St Charles street. Thanks!

Muriel's. It's actually in Jackson Square in the heart of the French Quarter. Hit one of the dining rooms for a slightly more formal experience, or check out the bar for something a little more casual. The Crawfish and goat cheese crepes are phenomenal. Also while you're there, take a peek at the upstairs Seance Lounge and balcony overlook. One of my highest recommendations.

Awesome! Thanks!

Marcellos on St. Charles for Italian. Excellent food and great wine. Steak at Chop House on Tchoupitoulas downtown. K Pauls is one of my favorites in the quarter for Creole/Cajun.

Dragos chargrilled oysters are a regular stop of mine when in the alcoholic state.

August...John Besh joint off Canal
Dick and Jenny's....Uptown near Tipitinas
Toups Meatery in Carrolton
SoBou on Chartres in da Quarta

Manning's Bar and Grill. Watched the Sugar Bowl from there on the big screen there.. Food was terrific as was the atmosphere. Had the best hamburger ever, and the BBQ grill is lit during the afternoon. Archie occasionally shows up.

What about any places in the $15-20 range for dinner? We are headed there today and wife hates spending a lot on food haha.
