Don’t get me wrong, I was as disappointed as anyone about not being able to get Bama when they looked their most gettable in years. But the Ole Miss team that took the field last night looked completely different than the one that played Bama last week.
Not sure how to explain that. The only thing that’s obvious to me is we finally had all our receiver weapons back. Just makes me think I underestimated how much we were at a disadvantage last week due to injuries and recovery time.
Still sucks to have lost but I guess I understand why a little better now.
