A local radio host in Memphis has been saying for a few year now that kids should stop signing NLI's. This article indicates there are at least 3 top prospects that may not this year. Can coaches afford to take commitments from players and then have them change their mind at the last minute? Seems it may work for a prospect as highly ranked as Newman, but would it work for a top 100 player? Top 50?
