Wait for it, the Clinton Family! That's right. Good ol' Bill and Hillary. You all may not believe this but during his term as governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton, along with his wife Hillary actively celebrated a ‘Confederate Flag Day’ every year. Hillary has been screaming since the shooting last week in South Carolina that it should be taken down and it fuels violence. Now, I am no supporter of the flag. I think it belongs, in a museum that is. But I hate it when people blow it our of proportion. This guy was a sick freak, but the flag was not the reason why he did that.
But anyway, as per the link below, you can see the law that Bill Clinton signed. There was even a steep fine if you went against that glorious day. One part of the law states:
[The] Arkansas Code Annotated, Section 1-5-107, provides as follows: "(a) The Saturday immediately preceding Easter Sunday of each year is designated as ‘Confederate Flag Day’ in this state. (b) No person, firm, or corporation shall display an Confederate flag or replica thereof in connection with any advertisement of any commercial enterprise, or in any manner for any purpose except to honor the Confederate States of America. (c) Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000)."
