Does anybody know what it was in his background check that kept all the sec schools from hiring him? Just curious, I work with a bunch of Memphis fans that think they will be competing for national titles in 2 years....

I've wondered the same thing, there were a couple comments on twitter about him having too much baggage and that some teams completely avoided him that were considered top destinations for his services.
. . . Sure, I'd buy that IF 1. They played in a power 5 conference 2. Had a clue that football is a game that consists of offense and DEFENSE.
By the way, it would be nice if Norvell didn't recruit thugs.
