I thought it was a nice 'get' to have him on the podcast. But it was clear it was positioned as an opportunity to repair his reputation.
I don't buy his explanation. Saban doesn't really have accidents. This guy completely changed what he normally does for this one game. Also sure Alabama was probably better, but they absolutely stopped everything cold.
Also, this guy wasn't very polished. Not sure why he is so popular, kind of came off as a bumpkin to me. His explanations seemed to lack depth. I'm surprised Neal likes him so much based on his personality. But maybe he is seen as a good potential source of information in the future.
