Most thought we would thrash Vanderbilt. Nerve racking game but we won and there are some positives. Walton ran for 132 yards and Kelly threw for over 300. Vandy gave Georgia fits and our score was about the same. Vandy has a good team.
I would like to see Kelly be alittle more careful and cut out INT's and us score from the 2 yard line when given 7 chances but overall we overcame and won.

That game was an embarrassment from start to finish. The coaches did not have the team focused and ready to win. We are not a top 20 team, much less top 5. We have the talent to win a national championship, but it's clear we don't yet have elite level leadership in the sidelines.

I was nervous before the game. We had a lot of dinged up players and anyone who knows anything about football knows a team normally has a hangover after an emotional and important game.

The inability to punch it in from short yardage with multiple tries was troubling. Was that the O line?

After dominating the 1st 2 puffs and a max effort in Tuscaloser I thought maybe we would finally be an I'm team who could put away every cupcake. Now I have to hope that vandy is a potential wedding cake. I wish we hat that McGlaster he was awesome. Siill too many batted passes to suit me. Chad has to think outside the box perhaps.

You guys should know that Vandy plays no one harder than they do us. We didn't play our best but we played good enough to win. Injuries, and I do suspect at least a little hangover from last week plagued us some. And as "wily" as Hugh is, I'm sure he still has a few Aces up his sleeve that he doesn't want to expose yet.

I disagree with the Vaught about us not being a top 20 team .We won the game by 11 points and are a top 5 team .hotty toddy beat the gators.

Me too. Let's not get down on ourselves. Traditionally, Vandy has always played well against us (except last year). They get up for this game. If I am a Florida fan, I'm worried.

Absolutely! Also, Jeremy Liggins not quick enough to get to LOS from Wildcat position. When we go "heavy" in short yardage situations (desperation move due to ineffective OL blocking) Robert Nkemdiche is better option, with Wilkins and/or Walton in same backfield.

Damn some negative people in the Ole Miss family. 4-0 and ranked 3rd and still bitching. No team plays perfect every week. Are we the best team in the country probably not but we are a top 10 team and if we get some breaks who knows what could happen. I just like going to the game and walking out a winner. I remember the Nutt years feeling beat before we ever walked out. No complaining here happy with our team and our school.

Alright Mr. Know-it-all, name 5 teams followed by 20 teams that you claim are better than us. But give me your reasons for each team. NO ONE in the country has a better win than us so far this year. I repeat, NO ONE. Let that sink in. I can't stand people getting on here and just throwing out shit with absolutely NOTHING to back it up. Why? Because we played a very mediocre game against an improving SEC team one week after THE BIGGEST game we have won in our football history. What an asshole to say this about our team and coaches. Get behind them or shut the hell up. Do you even remember what Nutt did just a few short years back? I do, and I'm damn glad we have the "leadership" we now have on our sidelines.

Injuries are piling up. We had a very good O line before the Yunsil deal and injuries hit us. Now we are forced to play two additional freshmen that would have been backups. Losing Conner was a big deal. He was a key part of our defense. When we are healthy we are a very good team. Injuries make us more equal to other teams.

I want to hear specifically why each team is better than us (as I stated above). Every team has to deal with injuries throughout the year.

Great post! We lost several starters in past Gator games and did well. We have better depth now, too, in the secondary. As I see it, the one concern is a running attack. Ole Miss will take this one, anyway.
