I've been begging for an adjustable standing desk for years. My firm finally adopted a policy to allow for a $500 allowance for anyone that wants to purchase one. That won't cover all the cost for most companies, but its enough. I'd like to not come out of my own pocket more than $300 additional.
I'm currently focused on the Uplift desk for it's functionally and price. I think 48" is plenty of room for me, since I have tons of table space for items I'm not currently working on. In fact, I think a smaller primary work surface will help me stay focused on the task at hand. I have a large wooden desk now with stacks all over it. It gets distracting and overwhelming. Not good for my ADD or ADHD or whatever they said I have back in the day. On that note, I also think working and standing will help me focus more. It's hard to focus when I have to stay seated. Yes, I'm like a 3rd grader. Haha
Does anyone have any positive or negative experience with any specific products that I can learn from? Any recommendations? Things I should know?
