I think we can all agree that the offensive line performance the past two seasons has been sub-par. I was reading a post in another thread by LAdodger, and noticed his opinion that most NFL prospect offensive linemen arrive on the college campus with ability that just can't be taught. Some things either you have or you don't, and I agree with that opinion.

If we look around the SEC at offensive linemen in the 2014 season, we would find that most teams probably had more talent at the OL than Ole Miss, but not all of them. I don't believe that Arkansas's OL was loaded with five star talent. MSU's OL certainly wasn't loaded with five star talent, and yet both of their OL's out performed Ole Miss in my opinion.

MSU's offensive line consist of a bunch of players that everyone else in the SEC passed up, and yet they have molded into a pretty effective offensive line that protects the QB in the passing game pretty good, and certainly is one of the more dominant rushing groups in the league. My question is, how much of Ole MIss Offensive Line woes are a result of just not having players develop, and how much is just an issue of running an offense that just isn't completely grasped by this group of players?
