I figured we need one thread to discuss the draft in. Obviously as Ole Miss fans we are specifically watching Cooper Pratt. We are also watching Jacob Gonzalez and Kemp Alderman and Calvin Harris hoping they end up in great spots.
We also have a lot of MLB fans in here that would like to discuss their own teams draft.
As a Cubs fan… at 5:21 PM I think the Cubs will pick Colt Emerson if you put a gun to my head at this moment. Some scouts believe he’s Jackson Holiday 2.0 almost exactly, his whole profile. I like that pick if it ends up being true. If we go college hitter, I hope it’s Tommy Troy from Stanford.
Also I’m interested in seeing what the Pirates do at 1:1. Reports are that Crews wants the highest signing bonus ever at $10M. I’d be surprised if Pittsburgh does that.
