@Neal McCready, I am sharing this because I think you will get a kick out of it or possibly be very jealous. My brother, who lives in OKC and whose company sponsors the Thunder, has been invited to one of the coolest trips. The Thunder are flying him and his wife out to Denver for opening night. However, the flight is on the team plane with the payers; they are being put up in the team hotel, and the Thunder are giving them a going-out allowance. They will have either courtside seats or be in a suite, yet to be determined. He is getting personalized team gear and will be able to interact with the players.
He shared that with me, and I immediately thought of you. I have never been aware of a team going this far to show appreciation for sponsors. I am a Rockets fan, but I have to tip my hat to the Thunder for being a first-class organization.
I'd be curious if anyone else on here has had similar experiences with other sports teams.
