I have to say, I think Ole Miss is a hell of a team. Always liked the coach and I definitely think those guys are going to go

completely agree! i hope you guys can make some noise with UGA, Ark, UF, and maybe Tenn. get the SEC to respectable levels in basketball too!

Why can't you guys play like this all of the time. We would sure like to see more SEC teams kicking butt. Even though you lost tonight by the final score, you guys really did win a moral victory. I know that does not help much but, we have been kicking just about everyone's ass and you guys could have won this tonight. Hats off to OLE MISS.
Thanks to you guys for the kind words. Kennedy coached his ass off tonight, switching defenses and keeping UK off balance. I thought we held our own on the glass and scored well in the paint(things I was very worried about going in). When this team shoots the ball well, we will give anybody a run. Credit to UK for making the plays down the stretch. That was a great game to watch.

Ole Miss not supposed to win..UK slept thru the game and pulled it out,,any school that builds a new arena smaller than the old win doesn't take basketball seriously..

Huh? Tad Smith (old arena) seats 8,700. New arena will seat 9,500.
I visited Rupp for the first time tonight and got to sit in the lower level. Very nice place but badly in need of upgrades. It's crazy to think that the premier college bball program plays in such an outdated arena, but I guess they don't own it and just lease. It seems to me that the city of Lexington has taken advantage of UK and it looks like UK is finally ready to put some pressure on the city after a $300 million renovation plan was cancelled after UK backed out of their part of the deal. Maybe UK will end up with their own arena eventually.

I would like to add my congrats to your coach, players, and fans. That was the best game of the year for us. I told my husband that Moody could have turned backwards-closed his eyes and the shot would have gone in. Your coach planned it perfectly, and the team executed beautifully. We were very impressed. Moody doesn't get cramps, and who knows, but the play didn't suffer much. You still had us on the ropes. I truly wish you well going forward.

The new arena seats more and leaves room to increase the seating even more. It also puts the students in the best seats on the side opposite the players' benches. Premium seating increases also. Basketball revenue will almost triple.
