I talked to several LSU sources today. The Tigers’ search appears to be down to Florida’s Kevin O’Sullivan and Ole Miss’ Mike Bianco. Most want Bianco, though a couple of prominent boosters want O’Sullivan. LSU’s ongoing Title IX issue is working against the Florida coach. Bianco’s candidacy has gained steam in recent days. Some believe LSU will ultimately hire O’Sullivan, but others believe it is Bianco’s job to turn down.
I’d like to know a bit more before I invested in this rumor, but there’s definitely smoke.
