I am not from the deep south so maybe I am little more sensitive to this issue.
However, I notice when Union stuff is brought up on TV it is historical and talked about at length. However, everything about the other side is changed or not talked about.
I honestly do not get it at all. There were 2 sides and the Union stuff cannot be historical if the confederate stuff is not also.
It would be like renaming and not talking about everything British just becasue we rebelled and won. Braddock Road would have to be changed plus the namea of half the counties in Va. Jamestown and Wburg would no longer be historical because they would only be evidence of British colonialism.
