I am definitely not the technology guru, but hoping I can get some advice from my fellow RGers.
I have Xfinity which is the only internet provider in my neighborhood currently. As soon as another provider is available I’ll be be switching.
I have the fastest internet speed they offer and I still have issues with trying to live stream something and use WiFi on phones at the same time. Tonight watching the game, it buffered multiple times and I would have to turn off the WiFi on my phone to get the tv to work again
Also certain parts of my house the WiFi is slower, but the xfinity tech told me my router was capable enough to cover the entire house.
For the speed and coverage issues…..Is this a typical Xfinity issue or do I need a new router? The router is around 5 years old and is a Netgear
I realize this is hashtag first world problems and all, but still a major pain in the ass nonetheless
