I'd appreciate any thoughts from you guys that have had knee issues.

About 2 weeks ago I had an accident at work, went through the ER who then referred me to Dr.Moore at the ortho clinic next to Baptist. He scheduled me for an mri and all that came back to him was a "bruise inside the knee" told me to "work through it" and cleared me for work. Returned yesterday and was hurting but okayish for about half the shift.. about midway through it started hurting so bad that it was all I could do to walk.. managed to make it through the rest of the day, but it's gotten progressively worse. There is obvious swelling and unless I put every ounce of weight on my heel (which is still painful) I can't walk at all. I've hurt a lot in my life.. but this is hands down the worst pain I've ever felt.

I ask because this is workman's comp and I assumed it ended when he "cleared" me last week and I can't get anyone on the phone.
