OT: Need parenting advice on how to handle Christmas presents….

We decided to forgo presents for our 10 and 7 year old this year in order to max out our Grove collective contributions, but now our kids are getting really upset about it. Hard to explain to a 10 year old that his present is a 5 star defensive lineman but any advice is helpful. TIA.
