Serious question, why can't this be done? Why not put armed guards or even armed and under cover (no uniform) personnel in our schools? And if you were to ban sale of all assault weapons, which BTW I personally would be fine with, what do you do about the thousands of them already sold and in the hands of potential whackos?? Why not put in airport level security in our schools? I'd pay more tax $$ for that.
