Some people are already mutilating themselves so as to be "disabled" or just to get sympathy or whatever. Its call "transabled". They may cut off fingers, legs, feet or hands. they may blind themselves in one or both eyes. IMO, this is just a more extreme form of cutting or head banging.
I be the liberal progressives will call these people courageous, brave and heroes also.
Again, people can do what they want to themselves as long as it does not hurt their family or use my taxes or insurance premiums to subsidize it.
