Ok so the video supported just what I was told and what I repeated here yesterday.
Unfortunately, I'm embarrassed to say, my sisters husband isn't nearly as upset as me over this. The bus driver has profusely apologized to Zach and that has satisfied his parents.
I am very upset and quite frankly pissed about the whole situation. For those that don't know people have been complaining about the school system and pretty much Simpson county for a very long time. Specifically Mendenhall. The police chief has been arrested for some sex offense then the next chief was extorting money or some shit. There have been constant issues at the schools.
Told my sister after their decision that I never want to hear a complaint from them again about the BS going on in Simpson county. It's the decisions like theirs of "not wanting to make a big stink or can't afford an attorney" that allow these freaking people to continue to operate with out consequences for their incompetence. Just infuriates me. The incompetence in Mendenhall goes from the mayor down through DHS and the police and sheriff departments and worse to the schools.
Back a few years ago a band director lost his job (well he transferred or whatever) after locking a couple students in a closet. I'll spare the long story and all. There are numerous incidents though.
But I can't help folks that don't want to rock the boat out of fear of being labeled a troublemaker. Thanks for y'all's advice. Case closed again.
