BASEBALL: Play at 3rd with Groff in the fourth inning...

I asked Mike about the play with Groff in the 4th. He said the runner is supposed to go toward home from third always on down-angle contact and then get in a run down if it's hit to the pitcher. That allows the other runners to 2nd and 3rd and avoid the double play which is same result if runner stays at 3rd to begin with except double play would then be a possibility.
