Defensive backs were awful tackling in space. Linebackers struggled against screen and back out passing game. Wideouts, even treadwell, dropped some balls that would have stemmed the change of momentum, wideouts had their worst perimeter blocking game in three years. Backs ran soft, punting sucked, kick return wasn't good. But despite all that we likely win this game if Freeze kicks the field goal when he obviously should kick field goals and punts when he obviously should punt. Those two plays were the two biggest momentum swings in the entire game and were completely responsible for the halftime deficit. Nobody is going to be perfect in any game, players and coaches alike. But There is no excuse for not being perfect on those two calls. The players can't do all the heavy lifting.
