So "fans"don't understand that it is hard to for a college team to get up two weeks in a row? How is
"fan" defined? Anyone involved, at some level, with an athletic team that is not actually covering the team?
As I have said before, RG's characterization of "fans" is a group of people incapable of embracing logic and reason when it comes to the school/team they support.
Seriously, I realized, oh probably around the age of ten or eleven the concept of a "letdown". Meaning human beings have a hard time sustaining emotional energy as it relates to a particular task. Never mind the physical requirements it takes to operate at peak levels in football.
So yes, perhaps the most difficult challenge for a college football coach is getting their teams emotionally and physically ready from one week to another against formidable competition. Hey, I get it, and I'm a "fan".
