ESPN is already figuring out how to detach their streaming service from carriers. Starting next year ESPN is going to offer MLS out of market packages on their ESPN3 platform that will have the ability to bought outside of how it currently is distributed. A move that in my opinion will be a beta test for the whole ESPN family of networks.
