The old podcast opener, with the Beastie Boys in the background, was 1:08. The new podcast, the one recorded from the Clark Ford Studio with the New Radicals in the background, is 1:21. It's a 13-second difference, per my ULM math. By the way, this isn't Jeffrey's baby. We collaborated on the clips and Jeffrey picked a song and we approved it. We had several options. We considered Van Halen's "Jump," which Chase did not like and I thought it was too old. We considered Third Eye Blind's "Semicharmed Life" among other options. We had a bunch of movie and TV clips and we just had some fun with it. Again, we had to change, as we were switching studio hosts. So we decided to do one we liked. We like it.
