They found there is a problem with the umbilical cord isn’t feeding enough blood to the baby. Said it is mostly likely from a injection in the placenta.
They are going to start here on steroids for her to help with the injection and help development of the baby’s lungs. We are staying in the hospital at mini of 4 days and at the latest baby will be delivered at 34 weeks now. Could possible be as early as next week or anything in between.
I am putting on a brave face and telling my wife everything going to be ok. On the inside I’m a scared af. 29 weeks seems really early and scares me. I know it happens a decent amount and babies end up being fine. But, you see the stories that have a terrible ending.
