I am 38. I grew up just down the road from Oxford and for better or worse, a Rebel fan. I had the opportunity to coach at the collegiate level and spent part of that time @ Ole Miss. The truth is this. Most programs with similar challenges as Ole Miss don't go from 6 win seasons to consistent double digit wins over a few years. The realistic path is 7, then 8 etc. although I find it hard to see 10 wins this year, this is exactly what this staff has done to this point. As long as we pull out 9 wins and possibly a bowl win, I would consider this right on schedule. We all want to win and win big. I was absolutely sick over the way the last few games have unfolded. That being said, all is not lost. I understand frustration and even suggesting a few changes being made. I don't understand how fans that say they are supporting Ole Miss telling/suggesting that recruits go elsewhere. I can assure you that getting Ole Miss to a consistent player in the West battle is an extremely difficult job and This staff has gotten us to the doorstep faster than any of us would have believed 4 short years ago. Complain, vent, I do, but let's stop short of making an extremely difficult job even harder by helping our competitors with negative recruiting.
