Hey guys, I’m posting this as an alert to anybody looking to buy tickets/etc on Ticket exchange. First off, I’m an idiot. I claim that and don’t need anybody telling me how stupid I am. This is hopefully to prevent this same person from scamming anyone else. I posted a listing that I was looking for a parking pass for the upcoming football season. The only place I posted it was on Rebelgrove ticket exchange. Somebody reached out to me asking if I was still needing a parking pass. We had a text dialogue for about 2 days. We agreed on a price and I Venmoed the money to which he stated that the funds were on hold and sent me a screen shot of his “Venmo account” saying the funds were on hold and he couldn’t send the parking pass until the funds were released. I called Venmo and they said the funds had been released on my end. I then called the OM ticket office and learned that electronic parking passes won’t be issued for transfer until August. (Something I should have already checked out, I know). Anyway, this person continued to dialogue with me even after I sent the money (just for SAGs I guess). He kept coming up with excuses and telling me that the funds would be released in 48 hrs and to be patient and he would promptly send my pass. Anyway, I just wanted to post here and warn anybody about responding to a

I’m sure he/she has multiple phones and Venmo’s but hopefully he will at least not be able to use this one again. I have bought many parking passes/tickets on Rebelgrove many times and naively thought that it would be a “safe place” to buy ole miss tickets. Sorry for the long post. Just didn’t want anyone else to get duped like me.
