You guys have mentioned that schools like OM, MSU, Bama and Auburn are somewhat behind the 8 ball when it comes to consistently competing in baseball. Seems like you guys mentioned that had a lot to do with other schools having lottery money from their respective states to offer more scholarships than that of OM.
My question is: What can OM specifically do to help close that gap? Assuming that the state of Mississippi doesnt get a lottery any time soon, can fans/donors help with contributions to help make up some of this difference?
