In your opinion, and I know you don’t want to appear critical of this staff, but looking for your personal/honest thoughts:
How important is it in early four games, to work on your overall scheme and certain plays/concepts you might need in conference play?
For example, you might not need to call plays to offset a pass rush blowing up your line against Furman, but you know you’ll need it vs Georgia.
A more direct way of asking it:
does throwing bomb after bomb over Furmans secondary actually prepare you for conference play? I know it pads stats and looks fun, but from a development perspective is that a missed opportunity to not implement other concepts?
