Do you think that eventually the university will decide to get rid of this? I am 100% for the changes that are being made, including the flag. But 10 years ago, I wouldn't have guessed they would take away Col Reb, then slow dixie, then the flag. They are all positive changes that will help the university move forward.
I think taking Rebels away is the next step down this path which is probably why the administration is adamant about the bear, it could be our new name.
I just think, whether it's right or not, Rebels is next and we will gone in the next 4-5 years It's only logical based upon the sequence of events that has already happened.
