Ole Miss is having a final summer camp on Saturday, though a few players are on campus already.
Calhoun, Ga., OL Jack DeFoor, who is already committed to Ole Miss, is on campus today, as is Lawrenceville, Ga., LB Donta Evans. Evans plans to make his decision before Aug. 29. He has some 25 offers from schools all over the country.
Trussville, Ala., RB Jarrion Street will visit Ole Miss tomorrow, per network sources. He’s planning to visit Missouri soon and then announce a decision soon after. The Rebels and Tigers lead his top five, as Street wants to play in the Southeastern Conference.
Tyrone, Ga., OL Chandler Tuitt will visit Ole Miss this weekend, he said earlier today. Tuitt committed to Ole Miss Friday.
Ole Miss is hopeful Germantown, Miss., ATH Nigel Knott and Macon, Miss., DE Jeffrey Simmons will make it to Oxford Saturday. Both prospects are expected to attend Mississippi State’s camp today/tonight. According to sources, Ole Miss feels it is in good shape for Simmons, though the Rebels know it will be a battle. The Rebels feel, according to sources, they’ve made up ground in the race for Knott.
Sources continue to believe Ole Miss is the leader for Rivals100 safety Deontay Anderson.
Ole Miss is expecting, per sources, a trio from Jackson, Miss., on Saturday: 2016 OL Javious Bardney, 2017 linebacker Aaron Odom and 2018 ATH Malik Heath.
As we hear more names, we’ll bring them to you.
