either we rededicate and start thinking on our feet or we down "de-feat". Against FSU with took a shot to the jaw and went down for the count. We have to recover from inevitable mistakes and regain momentum immediately or we sink. Coaches, HEADS UP!!' This means you too!!!! Odds makers are scoffing at you btw!

You can bet that Satan has this circled on his schedule. He will do his best to run the score up on us and bury us as deep as possible. Did you see the magic midget giving Lame Kitten the arze chewing of his life on the sideline because they did not run the score up on WKU? That was all in prep for this week. Make no mistake OM has haunted Evil Nicky's dream.

Actually, Saban was chewing Kiffin's arse because he didn't just run the ball up the middle to end the game, quite the opposite of what you described.

Much like Hillary's email explanations, the fact that you are so far offbase begs the question of whether you are either a liar or an idiot. Which is it?

And yes, Bammer is going to RUTS in Oxford as they have done many, many times before. Prepare thy anus.

My personal opinion is Bama is going to maul us. Our O line allowed 8 QB hits and 2 sacks on Kelly versus Woofford. Bama has the best D line in the nation. Our guards couldn't move a girl scout troupe out of the way. We can run up the middle and the two RB's with speed enough to get outside are done for the year. Our freshmen D backs are going to have their hands full. I see a long day.

I was just in Oxford for the Wofford game. No media outlet talked about Wofford-it was all about Alabama. The excitement there is beyond real. Is it me or has Oxford outgrown itself? The streets like Lamar and Jackson Avenues seem to have shrunk. And those turnabouts over the bypass Hwy. 7. Confusing. Still love the town, though. Alabama 31 Ole Miss 20. Lack of a running game and the secondary needs major help. But we win the beauty of the campus.

There seemed to be a total lack of confidence by the players and the staff in that 3 qtr to where they were clueless and helpless. The clock could tick fast enough. Bama will try to embarrass us as we've done to them the last two years. They won't have any mercy. We better bring the A game just to keep it competitive.

I saw that, too. Then again, we played a bunch of 3rd stringers. Still, Alabama is after us. This may not be a game in the 3rd quarter.

Beatles reb you should have a positive attitude about the bama game instead of agreeing with these bammer peckerwoods we are going to beat them again

Believe me, I'd love to see us beat Alabama. The secondary and running game really concerns me, though. That FSU game still hurts. Last year I was believing we had a good chance. Now judging from the media in Oxford-I was there for the Wofford game-we will be ready.Just being realistic.

Just so you know, we ran the ball for 92 yards in 2015 and 76 yards in 2014. One day you guys are going to realize that the yardage we get running the ball doesn't matter to our offense. it's the attempts. We have to have 30+ attempts running the ball to make the defense not sit in 2 high all day. Our screens set up the deep pass just like the run does.

So you're saying our offense doesn't rely much on the running game. It's there to keep the defense honest.

Lol, nice try but still way off. The defense isn't going to respect the run if you don't have success doing it. You could run it 100 times in a game but if you don't gain any yardage the defense is still going to play 2 deep safeties.

Ripping out half of your playbook and tearing it up right in front of your opponent is never a good idea.

I'll agree with that. We do have to run the ball and we are actually running the ball well this year. Judd is averaging over 5.5 a carry. There are fans on here that want us to scrap the spread and line up in the I and run it 45 times a game and try to beat Bama and LSU at their brand of football. That isn't our team. We are built for the spread. I would give anything if we could hire Art Briles son away from Baylor to run our offense.

I would stick with the gimmicky, trick play offense if I were the Good Reverend. Gives you a chance every now and then to knock off a team that's better than you, even though it will never produce a title. Let's be honest, OM wasn't ever going to win one anyways.

I agree, but thus far it has been very effective as the first step in the long arduous process of potentially building an elite program. Freeze has done an excellent job with the tools at his disposal, and if he can continue to gain momentum in recruiting and building the depth necessary to be able to compete for an SEC Championship everything else will fall into place.

I agree. The thing is he has to adapt like Urban Myer did. He ran a pure spread with running qbs at Utah. Florida had better players and he started to change. Now at Ohio State he runs a full blown multiple offense catered to his team. I believe that is where our coach is lacking. He hasn't learned to change offensive systems and schemes to fully utilize our personnel. Everyone is begging and pleading for Cam Akers to get on campus but he wouldn't be running for any more yards than any other back in this system. I won't blame him at all for going to Bama, LSU or Ohio state because they fit what he does.

Not sure we have the personnel yet. Guys like Greg Little are the key to being able to broaden our playbook. I think Freeze will make those adjustments, but it might take a little while longer to effectively get there.
